RN # 148 Thomas Jones

Climbing on down the family tree, Thomas Jones was the first to stay settled along the waters of 4 Mile Creek.  He was born in Virginia (1796), and an error in the census of 1840 [which gave that he was born in Kentucky], caused 10 years of research climbing out other Jones branches until the trail brought me right back to this Thomas.  Who can you trust in this genealogy world?

This notebook contains my research into this Thomas Jones who married 20 December 1823 to a Sallie Chisom (Chism and various other spellings).  Multiple graphs/maps/family charts are included.  Documents, census records, court records and other primary documents define and describe this grandfathers life.  He died after the 1860 census but have not found a definite date.

Details of the Bush Settlement, Clark Co., KY also included.
