Benjamin Harrison Jones was a brother to W.C. (William Carter Jones). He join the Eleventh Kentucky Cavalry, Company C, which was recruited in Clark County, KY. Most of its members were from Clark County, and he signed his name on Saturday, September 6, 1862. He participated in the Confederate raid through Indiana, Ohio, and West Virginia. He was captured at Buffinton Island and spent the remaining war time as a prisoner of war. This notebook contains my research into the John Hunt Morgan, and the Eleventh Kentucky Cavalry, C.S.A.
